Not long after the release of their second album Even Serpents Shine (MOVLP310), The Only Ones went back into the studio with producer Colin Thurston (famous for his work with Duran Duran, The Human League and Bow Wow Wow), which resulted in an abum that was more pop oriented than its two predecessors. Still going strong with their well known sleazy rock & roll and guitar sound this album shows that they were still a punkband that had been swimming against the tides from the moment they started playing. The Only Ones broke up a year after the release of Baby's Got A Gun, but you will not be able to hear a decline in any of the songs on this record.
